1. Who We Are

Toolwasp (toolwasp.com) is a free online tools platform. We provide text, email, marketing, and developer utilities that run directly in your web browser.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

We want to be clear about what we don't do:

• No personal data collection: We don't ask for your name, email, phone number, or any personal information.
• No account required: You never need to sign up or log in to use any tool.
• No tool input storage: Text, emails, HTML, URLs, or any content you enter into our tools is processed locally in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers (except for tools that explicitly require server-side processing, such as DNS/MX lookups).
• No third-party tracking: We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts.
• No data selling: We have no data to sell — and never will.

3. Data That May Be Collected

Like any website, minimal technical data is processed when you visit:

• Server logs: Your IP address, browser type, and pages visited may appear in standard web server logs. These logs are used solely for security monitoring and are automatically rotated/deleted.
• Analytics: We may track anonymous page view counts (which tools are popular) without identifying individual visitors. No cookies are used for this.

4. Client-Side Processing

The vast majority of our tools process your data entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. This means:

• Your input never leaves your device.
• No data is transmitted to our server.
• When you close the tab, your data is gone.
• We cannot see, access, or recover what you entered.

Exceptions: Some tools require server-side processing (e.g., email domain verification via DNS lookups). These tools clearly indicate when server-side processing is involved, and only the minimum data required (e.g., domain names) is sent to our server for processing. This data is not stored.

5. Cookies

We use minimal cookies only for essential functionality:

• Theme preference: Stores your light/dark mode choice so it persists across visits.
• Session cookies: Used only for the admin panel (not for regular users).

We do not use our own tracking cookies. However, third-party advertising partners (see Section 7a below) may place cookies on your device to serve and measure ads. You can manage these through your browser settings or the ad partner's opt-out tools.

6. Local Storage

Some tools use your browser's local storage to save preferences (e.g., recently used UTM templates, history). This data:

• Is stored only in your browser, on your device.
• Is never transmitted to our servers.
• Can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

7. Third-Party Services

We load the following external resources:

• Bootstrap Icons: Icon font loaded from jsDelivr CDN.
• QRCode.js: Used by the UTM Builder tool for QR code generation (loaded from jsDelivr CDN).

These CDNs have their own privacy policies. No personal data is shared with them — only standard HTTP requests for static files.

7a. Google AdSense & Advertising

We use Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC, to display ads on this website. Google AdSense may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites on the internet. Specifically:

• DoubleClick cookie: Google uses the DoubleClick cookie to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites across the web. You may opt out of the DoubleClick cookie by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• Personalized advertising: Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your browsing behaviour. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices.

Our tools are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. Since we don't collect personal data from anyone, this risk is inherently mitigated.

9. Data Security

Since we don't collect or store user data, there is no user database to breach. Our servers are hardened with standard security practices including firewalls, regular updates, and rate limiting.

If we update this privacy policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on the homepage. Since we don't collect emails, we can't notify you directly — we recommend bookmarking this page.
