A superscript number is a small raised digit that announces its own context: the exponent of a power, the index of a footnote, the marker of an ordinal, the unit of a measurement. Typeset systems draw these glyphs as tiny characters hovering above the baseline - and Unicode, surprisingly and conveniently, defines every digit of them as a real, copyable, pasteable character. That means you can carry small raised numbers into any text field: a chat message, a spreadsheet cell, a document heading, a social caption - no word processor, no equation editor, no image required.
Generate Superscript Numbers converts any input - an exponent like 10^5, a unit like m2, an ordinal like 1st - into Unicode superscript text in one click. Each ordinary digit is replaced by its dedicated superscript character (0 becomes U+2070, 1 becomes U+00B9, 2 becomes U+00B2, 3 becomes U+00B3, and 4 through 9 become U+2074 to U+2079). Superscript signs and parentheses are recognised so expressions such as (-3)2 convert cleanly, while characters that have no standard superscript form, like the decimal point, pass through unchanged so nothing is ever lost.
